Dr. Saurav Lamichhane

Dr. Saurav Lamichhane is a Consultant Aesthetic Dermatologist and Venereologist at Nepal Mediciti, specializing in advanced skincare, cosmetic dermatology, and laser-based treatments. He earned his MD in Dermatology and Venereology from Jinzhou Medical University, China, where he conducted specialized research on the efficacy of fractionated CO₂ laser therapy for atrophic acne scars—a testament to his deep expertise in laser dermatology and acne scar management.

Dr. Lamichhane began his medical journey with an MBBS degree from Kathmandu Medical College, affiliated with Kathmandu University, establishing a strong academic and clinical foundation. To further refine his aesthetic and surgical skills, he completed a fellowship in Aesthetic Dermatology, Laser Treatments, and Dermatosurgery at the prestigious Venkat Center for Skin, ENT, and Plastic Surgery in Bangalore, India. This advanced training equipped him with cutting-edge techniques for managing complex dermatological conditions and delivering high-quality aesthetic outcomes.

With extensive clinical experience, Dr. Lamichhane has served as a Consultant Dermatologist at several leading healthcare institutions, including Blue Cross Hospital, Samaj Skin and Laser Clinic, and Diskin Health and Referral Center in Kathmandu. His early professional roles at Norvic International Hospital and the Tribhuvan International Airport Clinic further strengthened his expertise in managing emergency skin conditions and providing timely dermatological care.

Actively involved in national dermatology workshops, skin health awareness campaigns, and community outreach programs, Dr. Lamichhane is committed to promoting skin health and delivering patient-centric care. His areas of special interest include laser therapy, acne treatment, anti-aging solutions, skin rejuvenation, pigmentation disorders, and sexual health (venereology).
