Before starting a transplant, your surgeon sterilizes the area where the hair will be removed and numbs it with a local anesthetic. Patient can also request sedation in order to stay asleep for the procedure.
The surgeon then performs one of two transplant methods: FUT or FUE.

Depending on the size of the transplant you’re getting, the process will take about 5-8 hours to one whole day. You might need another procedure later on if you continue to lose hair or decide you want thicker hair.
