What is PRP Therapy?

PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma, also known as Plasma Rich in growth factors. The therapy uses the patient's own blood making the treatment hypoallergenic. In cosmetic dermatology, PRP therapy is used to enhance the condition of skin & hair.

How long does PRP Therapy take?

For best results, consistency is key. Treatments are typically performed once a month for the first three to four months, and then every three to six months thereafter, depending on the individual patient's response and results.

Does PRP Therapy has any side effects?

No long term serious side effects but there is minimal pain or discomfort. Cool air or ice packs may be used to minimize pain. Bruising can occur but usually resolves within a week or two.
