Dr. Sanju Babu Shrestha has been instrumental in the establishment of the in Skinciti (Dermatology clinic, Laser and Hair Transplant Centre) at Nepal Mediciti Hospital. He was working in Kathmandu Medical College and Teaching Hospital (KMCTH) as Ass. Professor at the Department of Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases before he joined Nepal Mediciti.

He was also working as a senior consultant Dermatologist and Venereologist in Alka Hospital, Jawalakhel: Nepal Korea Skin Hospital, Min Bhawan: and swasti Laser Skin Care,Naxal.

He has huge experience of teaching MBBS students, postgraduate residents(MD dermatology) and B.Sc. nursing students.

He specializes in hair Hair transplantation by FUE and FUT and Robotic Hair Transplantation, Laser, aesthetic and cosmetic surgeries, Botox, Fillers PRP and thread lifts.



Participated in Hair Quest-II about the robotic hair transplant CME / Live and hands on workshop in Mumbai on April 2019.

Fellowship and training

He has completed the educational activities related with hair transplantation, lasers and aesthetics as a international medical training programme held at the department of dermatology at Keimung University, Dongsan Medical Center, Daegu, Republic of Korea on 2011 and attended the instructional course on AllforSkin Dermatology, Hair & laser center Daegu, South Korea on 2011.He has participated in the pre-conference work shop in Botox ( both basic and advanced) and fillers in International Congress of European Society of Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dermatology (ESCAD) in Mumbai India held on 2012.



Dr. Sanju Babu is a Member of the Society of Dermatologist Venereologist and Leprologist of Nepal. He is also a member of the International League of Dermatological Society (ILDS), South Asian Regional Association of Dermatologists (SARAD) and Life Member of Nepal Medical Council.
